What is Dailies Studio?

Dailies Studio is an online video studio, sold as a subscription: it cuts shorts from the video calls you hold in Chrome, short captioned vertical videos, and publishes them for you on your networks. A Chrome extension records the call; the online service picks the passages, edits them, captions them and publishes them. Dailies Studio is for people who spend their days on calls and have neither the time nor the wish to film themselves: consultants, coaches, sales reps, freelancers, founders, trainers.

What does Dailies Studio actually do?

You hold your call as usual, in Chrome. Dailies Studio records it, reads the whole of it, spots the passages that stand on their own, reframes them vertically on whoever is speaking, cuts the silences and hesitations, and adds animated captions. A few minutes after you hang up, you have up to eight shorts to watch and plan: Dailies Studio publishes them for you.

How does Dailies Studio work?

You open your call in Chrome and start the recording: Dailies Studio captures the call tab, your microphone and your webcam. Dailies Studio then chooses up to eight passages of 30 to 90 seconds, reframes them to 9:16, captions them in the style you picked and offers them to you. You plan the ones you like, and Dailies Studio publishes them on the day and at the hour you chose, on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Which video call platforms does Dailies Studio work with?

Dailies Studio works with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom, for calls held in the Chrome browser. Dailies Studio is a Chrome extension: it does not record calls held in a desktop app or on a phone.

Does a bot join the call to record it?

No. Dailies Studio records from your browser: no extra participant joins the call. Telling your guests that the call is recorded is up to you, before you begin.

What happens to my guests in the shorts?

A Dailies Studio short shows whoever is speaking: you, when you answer, your guest when they speak. One switch blurs your guests and disguises their voice in all your shorts. You then decide, short by short, what you plan: nothing else is published.

Which languages does Dailies Studio handle?

Dailies Studio handles calls held in French and in English. This site is written in seven languages, but calls held in a language other than French or English are not supported.

How many shorts do you get per call?

Dailies Studio cuts up to eight shorts per call, of 30 to 90 seconds each. That is a maximum and not a promise: Dailies Studio keeps only the passages that still make sense once they are out of the call, and not every call holds eight of them.

What does Dailies Studio not do?

Dailies Studio does not write meeting notes, does not cut up a video you already have, publishes nothing you have not planned and has no avatar speak for anyone: its shorts are real passages of your calls.

Are my recordings used to train an AI?

No. The recordings Dailies Studio makes of your calls train no model, neither ours nor anyone else’s. They are used to make your shorts, and for nothing else.

How long does Dailies Studio keep my recordings?

Dailies Studio deletes the original files of a processed call, sound and picture, 10 days after processing, 15 days at the latest. After that, Dailies Studio keeps what your shorts are made of, that is, the only pieces of video they use, and the call’s transcript, until you delete the call, which you can do at any time. A call left unprocessed is deleted 30 days after the call.

Does Dailies Studio post my clients’ confidential information?

Dailies Studio publishes only the shorts you have planned: it proposes shorts, and you alone decide which ones go out. To choose them, Dailies Studio rates what each passage reveals that is private or confidential and turns down those that reveal something. That is a model’s judgement, not a guarantee: watch every short before you post it.

How do you start with Dailies Studio, and at what price?

With a thirty-minute call with the team, booked on this site: they look at whether Dailies Studio suits your calls and set it up with you. Dailies Studio is sold as a single plan, at a monthly price: unlimited calls, shorts and publications, with no free trial. The site’s pricing page gives its price.

Who makes Dailies Studio?

Dailies Studio is published by Berenger.dev SRL, a company based in Belgium.

Where does the name Dailies Studio come from?

In film-making, the “dailies” are the raw footage a crew watches on each day of a shoot. Here, the raw material is that of your own days: your calls. Dailies Studio, the video studio at dailies-studio.com published by Berenger.dev SRL in Belgium, has no connection with other companies or products that bear the same or a similar name.

Who is Dailies Studio for?

For people who explain their trade on calls several times a week. Each trade has its own page, with the calls to record and what comes out of them.
